When a sled dog dreams, surely he must dream of racing across the ice with his team in the land of the Midnight Sun. The moment I saw the Clara Natoli photo of this fabulous red Siberian Husky, I knew I had to do a portrait from it. The dog has such a commanding presence and attitude, personifying the breed. And then there's that fabulous Sibe Smile! I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed creating it.
